Network and Systems Administrator
Position Summary
The role of the Network & Systems Administrator is to assist in the design, upkeep and security of the network and assist customers who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty related to the network. Complex and/or high priority problems are normal for Network & Systems Administrator. This position will be a member of the security team.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Configure and maintain network computer systems, including hardware, system software, and applications
- Diagnose, track, and resolve hardware and software issues and problems as they arise
- Assessing the technical needs of staff or clients
- Install and maintain Cisco IOS/ASA network and operating systems;
- Install and maintain telephone network systems;
- Compile written documentation and reporting for county network systems.
- Understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions;
- Comprehend technical and user manuals, diagrams, and instructions;
- Operate standard office equipment, including a personal computer using program applications appropriate to assigned duties;
- Operate hand and power tools, electronic testing equipment, and related specialized computer installation, maintenance, and repair equipment;
- Configure and maintain end point protection software i.e. Sophos
- Configure and maintain security scanning software ie. InsightVM
- Help coordintate 3rd party security scans and remediation

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field preferred.
- Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) preferred.
Licenses: Standard Driver’s License
Other: Ability to travel to offices throughout the state of Idaho.
