Tom Gallup

I was raised in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1971. I attended Ricks College and BYU majoring in Health Science Education. Jan (my wife) and I met in college and were married in 1975. We have three boys and three girls lining our mantel with grandchildren. After working in Utah for a year after graduating from BYU, we decided to move back to Idaho. In 1980, I went to work selling insurance for Farm Bureau Insurance. During the '80s, I furthered my insurance education and received my CLU and ChFC designations in 1987 and 1988 from the American College in Bry Mawr, PA. Outside two years living in Finland and three years in Utah, I have lived my entire life in Idaho. Since 1980, I have served my fellow Idahoans, providing insurance products they need for financial peace of mind.

About Me

Tom's roots have been in Southeastern Idaho beginning with Thomas Mendon Gallup, his grandfather, homesteading Antelope Flats east of Idaho Falls in the early 1900’s. Living with his grandparents and working on the farm each summer, Tom learned the value of hard work, dependability and service - the same values at the base of Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho, an organization that has empowered him to work with good people from many walks of life the past four decades.
